With funding from #UNICEF and the implementation of #Taybah Foundation for Development and within the Emergency Response Project - water and environmental sanitation, work has been completed on supplying and operating two solar-powered submersible electric pumping units in Al Hudaydah Governorate - Al Thita District
Where the project will contribute to improving the water supply to the people of the District, which benefits approximately 5,856 families.
The people have long suffered from water scarcity, thanks to God, and with the kind efforts of UNICEF and Taybah, the day has come when the water will reach every home.
The project is an integrated system for the two wells, where the first well covers about two-thirds of the need in the District ... The second well covers the remaining third ... A system with a capacity of 54700 watts has been installed with a number of 140 plates and a plunger motor and a pump with a production capacity of 37 kilowatts ... capable of producing 45 Cubic meters of water within an hour ..
As for the second well, the total number of panels is 128 panels with a production capacity of 48740 kilowatts and a 30 kilowatt pump that produces 45 cubic meters of water within an hour as well.
