Funded by Alawn and Selah Foundations of the comprehensive professional development program for teachers (the axis of integrating technology into education) The first stage of the comprehensive professional development program for teachers (the center of the integration of technology in education), which was held from August 28 to September 6, ended on Thursday, September 6, 2018, with 50 training hours targeting 34 trainers from the governorates of Hadramout, Aden and Shabwa. Topics focused on the use of the Internet for learning, teaching and distance learning projects
The program comes under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and funded by the two Foundations (Alawn – Selah) and implementation of Taybah Foundation for Development At the beginning of the meeting, participants reviewed a number of programs, applications and technical projects related to the educational process, including the most prominent axes and rules that were trained during the program. In a speech by Mr. Ahmed Hadijan, Director of Taybah Foundation for Development, Hadramout Office explained that the end of the program is the beginning of work in the field on the transfer of experiences and skills acquired during the program for schools in order to develop the skills and qualifications of teachers and contribute to the advancement of the teaching process in scientific ways to help teach materials in modern ways.
The comprehensive professional development program (the axis of technology integration in education) continues through the end of the academic year through the applications and participative work between students and teachers in the governorates of Aden, Hadramout and Shabwa. The best work among the participating teachers is achieved through evaluation and follow-up. It is noteworthy that the launch of the program in its first version was during 2005-2007 and was updated and the integration of some stages until it was implemented in its third and current version.
